What is it about a rainy day that makes you feel so lifeless. I have a few theories about the cause of our fatigue. One, maybe the gloomy atmosphere has something to do with out bodies feeling so inert. Two, the weariness in people is only caused from fear of the menacing drivers out on the streets. Three, the most powerful influences in the media have somehow put discrete acids in the precipitation that release a chemical in to the air after hitting the ground. This chemical when inhaled by humans causes a drowsiness which over takes their minds and allows for producers to generate revenue by the consumers need to purchase items that keep boredom away- food, movies, board games, ect.

The bus finally arrived and everyone began to board the pre-packed bus. As I got on I noticed that many people were standing up. I noticed the front was full, the middle was full but the back was empty so why did these bus riders choose to stand up. Immediately, I spotted the problem. There was a fat pregnant lady, wearing a black sweat attire whom was covered with crumbs and crying hysterically. It came to my realization that this was a stereotype, because she was a fat pregnant lady, wearing a black sweat attire whom was covered with crumbs and crying hysterically, she became a rejected mad woman that no one cared or showed sympathy for. Being media literate, I sat down to the lady, offered her a slice of pizza and made a persons day.

The thrill, adventure and suspense from the book was injected in to the movie. People loved “The Da Vinci Code” so much that Dan Brown had to come out with more. “Angels and Demons” soon came after “The Da Vinci Code” and was released to please the ravenous consumers.

People’s satisfactions are never met and this is where the media helps. The book “The Da Vinci Code” was not enough so through a different medium, they decided to satisfy our needs through a movie. After the movie, we wanted more so Dan Brown made a book which explained previous events in the book “Angels and Demons”, which a lot of critics and people loved. Guess what the media decided to do? Yep, they made a movie out of that book too. When people want something, the media makes sure our demand are met.

I am taking the class communications 10 from 8-10 A.M and immediately after, I have track practice. In my class, we change our thinking patterns to analyze things happening in the media so when I go to track I cant help but over-analyze minuscule details. I was jogging along side a beautiful girl when I observed the way she was jogging. What intrigued me about her style of jogging was her hands. This girl had her elbows tucked in to her chest and had her hands hanging out. This style of jogging was being done by a few other girls and I realized that this style of jogging was feminine. The style of jogging for guys is more of a masculine arm stroke rather than the hang loose stroke.

The reason I brought this observance up is to prove a point. Where was it decided that women should jog with the hang loose stroke and men should have a strong straight arm stroke? The answer is those damn media people. People should stay aware of what media is trying to condition people to do.

Big designer companies strategically give out free clothing or pay celebrities to have them wear their clothing out in public for the vulnerable fans to see. Most of the younger generation, being conditioned through t.v, have learned that perfection is instilled in a celebrity. This generates a motivation in kids to try and be exactly like their favorite celebrity- same clothes, hair style, make-up’s, ect.- in order to be accepted by society. No kid wants to be a loser with no friends so they conform and reciprocate other kids. This rule that big designer brands have continuously embedded in to our brains through media must be assassinated pronto. Don’t conform to society, instead differ by being an individual.

Low roads are being flooded with rain making it impossible for drivers to use their vehicles properly. Utility workers are loaded with work because of the major loss of electricity. There already has been a few deaths from trees falling on houses but the biggest concern are mudslides from the steep hillsides and canyons of north L.A. Groups of people have been urged to evacuate their homes as a precaution because of the over-saturated mud.

The rains impact has cause a huge inter-state to close down, the I-5. Today the barometric pressure at Los Angeles International Airport was recorded at 29.20 which is the lowest it has ever been since 1930. The rain is really doing a number on us and has moved from fun to catastrophe. To much of anything is not good.

For only 17 dollars, you can go and eat unlimited Korean BBQ! This really is a deal if your bill always surpasses this amount of money. You go to this place with your buddies and they give you three meats at a time which you BBQ yourself in the big grill located right in the middle of your table. Once you are finished with your portion of meat they give you more and more till you cant scarf down another bite.

This place is truly delightful if your a food lover like myself. They supply you with unlimited meat, rice, and other little things like baked eggs, veggies, ect. The one downfall for me is eating to much and then feeling remorse over the food comma your stuck in. Overall, this place is extraordinary and something always drags me back every month.

The commercial was targeted toward middle aged women who are health conscious and either want to loose weight or continue to stay fit. Taco bell in this commercial, is trying to sell a healthy life style just like subway. They also copy the jenny craig commercial by showing the results of the women advertising the product. I think this is a very clever scheme to target a new audience who probably would not have chose taco bell as their main choice of food.
